The main fields of activity:
- Teaching astronomy giving lectures on general astronomy
and on physics of interstellar matter.
- Doing research:
- Looking for intergalactic and interstellar dust
clouds analyzing infrared observational data received
by IRAS
and COBE.
- Making computer simulations of the large scale
distributions of galaxies, voids and intergalactic
clouds.
- Doing observations and analyzing high resolution
optical spectras of hot reddened stars looking for
the absorption features originated in interstellar
medium.
- Trying to solve problem of the origin of mysterious
Diffuse Interstellar Bands (DIBs).
Some problems I would like to find being solved
- Nature of gravitation
- Origin of 3K microwave radiation
- The nature of intergalactic medium
- The chemical evolution of interstellar matter
