Using accessible optical and infrared observational data searches for the dusty component of intergalactic matter are carried out. Clusters of galaxies, voids in large-scale distribution of galaxies and intergalactic clouds as well as 'free' intergalactic space are believed to contain cold dust. All these environments are under investigations.
All observational aspects of interstellar clouds are under considerations but the main field of interest is the origin of the diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs). In these field there is a close collaboration with prof. Jacek Krelowski from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.
