Przegorzały Guesthouse of the Jagiellonian University

Dom Gościnny Przegorzały (Przegorzaly Guesthouse) of the Jagiellonian University is located 5 km away from the centre of Cracow and 7 km from the Balice Airport. The A4 motorway, just 3 km from here, provides a fast connection to Wieliczka and Bochnia salt mines, Wadowice, Zakopane, Silesia or any other part of Poland. Located on a hill, in the beautiful secluded spot of the Wolski Woods, it is an ideal place for both work and relaxation. With the woods being so close, there is no need to leave the building to admire the beauty of nature, hear birds singing or watch roe deer and squirrels wandering. For walkers and cyclists there are numerous woodland trails to the monastery of the Camaldolese Order, the Jagiellonian University Observatory in Bielany, the mounds of Marshal Piłsudski and Tadeusz Kościuszko as well as to Cracow Zoological Garden. On the nearby hillside there is a nature reserve with some rare species of plants.

The Guesthouse can accommodate up to 170 people in single, double, and triple rooms, making it the largest conference and accommodation venue of the Jagiellonian University. All the rooms have internal equipped bathrooms with toilets. The historical tower - called Belvedere - hosts an apartment for the guests at the 1st level. The apartment consists of three beautifully furnished rooms, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and a terrace. There is a free WiFi access in the whole building.

The guesthouse has ten conference rooms, perfect both for business and teaching purposes and the main conference hall for 180 people, equipped with PA system. The Tower's ground floor has a stylish room with a fireplace and a viewing terrace. There is an access to the Internet and teaching/conference equipment, such as an overhead projector, screen, writing boards and TV in all conference rooms, and, if requested, a multimedia projector is also available. Besides, the guests have free access to a computer with a printer and the Internet access.
